April 4, 2022

Sport 24, the IMG-owned 24/7 live sports channel for the airline and cruise line industries, has renewed its partnership with the ATP for the prestigious 1000 series for a further three years.

Building on a relationship of 10 years, Sport 24 and its sister channel Sport 24 Extra will continue to connect travellers around the world with live action from the top nine tournaments on the ATP Tour calendar. More than 520 hours of live coverage will be shown on the main channel and 80 hours of coverage on Sport 24 Extra.

Richard Wise, SVP, Content and Channels, IMG’s media business, said: “The ATP Masters 1000s have been a key offering of our premium tennis content and we are delighted to be continuing a relationship which began 10 years ago. Tennis has a huge global fan base and being able to regularly feature the top players in the men’s game is a popular viewing experience for passengers in the air and on the seas.”

The ATP Masters 1000s, which debuted as a series in 1990, features the best men's tennis players including Daniil Medvedev, Novak Djokovic and latest Rio Champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Sport 24 is available on Panasonic’s market-leading live television service, which is broadcast via satellite. Launched in 2012, both Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra are produced from IMG’s production HQ at Stockley Park, near London’s Heathrow Airport. Sport 24 also shows live action from the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, NBA, tennis’ grand slams, golf’s Majors, MotoGP and more.
