TRANSFERS TO WATCH

If you’re on the move this month, you’re in luck! You can catch the start of the season, LIVE, on Sport 24 & Sport 24 Extra! The action kicks off on 11 August at 19:00, with Burnley v Manchester City, but keep up to date with all the latest fixtures HERE.

It's almost time for the eagerly awaited Premier League to return to our screens, and big name players like Erling Haaland, Mo Salah, and Marcus Rashford will be looking to pick up where they left off last season, but there are also some new signings, eager to make a mark on their new clubs...

Here are our player transfer picks to keep an eye on this season:

After the intense title fight last season, it’s unsurprising ARSENAL are making some significant changes. The biggest notable signings for Arsenal in this transfer window have been DECLAN RICE at £105m and Jurrien Timber from Ajax at £38m. With an impressive 245 appearances for West Ham, 43 caps for England, and a UEFA Europa Conference League win to end last season, it’s no wonder Rice was top of Gunners’ list! Arsenal have also signed goalie David Raya from Brentford, leaving many people speculating where that leaves Ramsdale?

After building a strong squad over the last 3 /4 seasons, ASTON VILLA have been expanding their net even further this season. Tielemans joins the squad from Leicester as well as French international MOUSSA DIABY. With his UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen, Diaby has caught the eye of several clubs around Europe, finishing last season with 14 goals to his name – but the Premier League has him now!

MANCHESTER UNITED mean business this transfer window. With departures from David de Gea and Harry Maguire amongst a cohort of others, the Red Devils have already brought in Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Denmark's RASMUS HOJLUND. Hojlund joins his boyhood club from Serie A’s Atalanta, but also previously spent time in the Bundesliga. What will we see him achieve in the Premier League?

TOTTENHAM have hit the headlines with their newest recruits; JAMES MADDISON from Leicester at £40m, and Van de Ven from Wolfsburg for £34m. Could these signings be the catalyst to reverse Spurs' recent struggles in the Premier League? Or, if the rumours are true, will Kane’s departure prove to be an insurmountable setback for them?
